Hi -
A while back I was diagnosed with Diverticulosis after a colonoscopy / endoscopy. The doctor put me on Prevacid. This is after being treated for ulcer by my GP. (Stats include: Male, 43, overweight/obese.)
The Prevacid helps somewhat, but I get occasional pains in my abdomen. Often a pain on the upper torso, either left or right, although recently it's hit my lower abdomen as well. Usually it comes and goes, but right now I've had it pretty much straight for 48 hours. Some light nausea (no throwing up) and a few sharp pains on left and right side. It could be just the diverticulosis acting up, or could be gallbladder or something worse. Anyone here have any insight? I don't want to go running to the doctor every two weeks, but I also don't want to ignore a warning sign.
