Dear all:
I wrote this "letter" when I tried to envision my mother's last moments before death. It helped me to get through it in 2002 and I pray that it brings with it even a modicum of perspective:
A sweet melody before I go...
Sweet trumpets blowing honeydew nectar
allowing me to taste the notes
for those senses still intact
Tangy saxaphones leading me astray;
yeah,just like that
to replace the bitterness
that was harbored oh so long
Pungent piano rifts a plenty
to help me drift earnestly
into a state of mind
which bears no city limits
Succulent percussions sentience
replace the divine drought
brought about in vain
by hateful ploys abound
Savory harps divine
gently stringing proudly
it's completion has occurred...
Now my eyes shall blink no more
Take care
God Bless
