Does anyone have any suggestions about what to do to keep from getting bronchitis, someone told me once you have it you will get it every time you have a cold, funny thing is this is my second time and I have no cold just cough and congestion. Of course Dr. visit. I'm on juice plus and I feel a lot better this time. If anyone knows of any preventative measures I would sure appreciate it. I just moved to Georgia from Florida and I feel like I'm sick all the time. Vertigo, Virus and now this. Help!!! Thanks carrie

No, once you get Bronchitis you don't get it every time you get a cold. It depends on the cold and your susceptability of coughs/chesty ailments. I used to get it almost every cold throughout my childhood but haven't had it for many years now.

It's hideous though...you may have to take anti-biotics, or maybe not. Mine usually went away on its own in later years.

I guess just try to avoid more phlegm than necessary going down your throat into your lungs when you get a cold, like...don't lie on your back too much...that seems to make it worse...blow your nose regularly instead of snorting and snuffling...*shrug*
