Is anyone on this site 35 years or older?Do most of you have female problems for infertility or is it DH's problems? I was just curious as I'm 36 and never been pregnant and my DH's sperm test came back very very low. Anyone else with these problems? My hubby has verticoseal and we have been waiting after jumping through many hoops to finally see an RE. He also travels for 60 days at a time so this can be frustrating. Also, I feel as though I'm not getting any younger.

Hi babylove,
There are several women on the board that are around your age and above. We have a few over 40. I am 32 so not quite there yet but I do understand the feeling of thinking you are running out of time. Last cycle the nurse told be my eggs are of some-one who is age 40. So as much as I do not think that is true based on RE interpertation of my FSH levels, it was a scary to hear when I am the age I am. Seeing an RE is the best thing you can do right now. They will help you and DH get the answers you need to get you that BFP!! GOOD LUCK!!!

Hello ~
I am 38...had a first healthy pregnancy (first try) going on five years ago (she's gonna be 5 next mont) and then got pregnant about three years ago; again on the first try but m/c. Ever since then I cannot get pregnant. I've done three cycles of injectables and IUI, by RE basically just told me he doesn't think that I will be able to get pregnant and my next step is donor egg / IVF. I'm going for a second opinion....just to make sure. They have just said that i have "old" eggs....nothing like making you feel old and my DH is fine. Hopefully they will have some more answers....in the meantime we just stopped all the drugs for a while and will try the old "natural" way and see what happens. We're going to Cancun next with and I should be ovulating. As my friends have said....get drunk and *...*, so we'll see.
Good luck to you.
Nancy
Hi Babylove!
I am not quite your age - I am 33 - but like you i have never been pg. my DH is 36 so we are definitely hearing the clock ticking loudly, as we have been ttc for 3 years now. Very smart of you to get to an RE. sometimes the IF workup takes time so the sooner you see a doc the better. unfortunately for us we have unexplained IF so there isn't anything to fix. but i am starting an IVF cycle next month so here's hoping. I wish you lots of luck. let us know how it goes.
