Ok, so my uro is on vacation until Next Wednesday and I ave been sufferinng with 3 kidney stones and 2 ureter stones. Pain is (somewhat) controlled by meds right now. Had a fever for a while tonight but it has gone. I have noticed no blood in the urine. When do I swallow my Taurus pride and return to the all so familiar local ER?

My uro ordered the cat which is how I know I have stones. I has not seen the films himself becuase he is out. I trust my local ER but I DO NOT trust two of the Uros on staff there. My uro's cover gave me the meds for pain and didn't think I "acted sick enough" for further treatment!

Is this your 1st time with stones? That's a lot to have at one time. Drink plenty of water and walk or exercise and you may be able to pass them.
You may notice blood when the stones are ready to pass. The ones in the kidneys need to go down to your urethea to be able to pass. The hospital doesn't do too much anyway except help you deal with the pain and if they find you cannot pass them, they should be able to cystoscope them out
(under anethsia). Good Luck
PS My pain from kidney stones were worse than giving birth
