My mom has rectal cancer and osteoporosis. 10 days after radiation treatments ended (28 straight days), she had extreme pain when standing or sitting, but not while lying down. The problem? The radiation had ruptured her sacrum due to the osteoporosis! It was the first time the doctor had seen such a thing and had never heard of it.

So it sounds like it is quite rare to have this happen, but just thought I'd mention it just in case there are one or two of you that may have this happen...
