The past few months my past bulimia has crept back in :eek:
I used to eat alot of junk at school, then ate very little
This eventually developed into bulimia - which i got over
Now, i eat a very healthy diet and am into womens bodybuilding
However, i now hate the feeling of being full :confused:
I've started purging after having foods like protein shakes or even a healthy meal if i feel full
I can't have what i call a 'cheat' meal without purging, but i eat it coz i crave sweet foods so much

I ate very healthy on Sunday, but after a large vegetable-only salad with fat free dressing I purged. Why? I felt uncomfortably full. I recently spoke with a dietician who told me instead of eating one big meal a day, break it up into a couple of small, healthy meals throughout the day. Thay way you won't feel uncomfortably full and feel the need to purge. I only eat big meals on the weekend so I haven't tried this yet. It sounds logical though. I hope it works.

I agree. Eating smaller portions of food throughout the day is the more healthy choice, as it can help you from overeating and also resist the urge to purge.

My diet is already 5-6 smaller meals a day, low in saturated fat, high protein, moderate carbs.
I get full very easily, thats why when i eat out i always purge coz i'm not used to larger portions
Wish i could just eat healthily all the time with small portions, but i crave too much! :mad:

I try to eat healthy foods as much as possible, but it's hard. The longer you do it though the easier it seems to be. I actually crave fruit and vegetables now. I carry a variety of flavors of sugar-free gum in my purse. Sometimes when I want sweets the gum acts as a substitute. If I don't eat the sweets I don't have the guilty feelings and urge to purge.

I understand how you feel, I eat my share of junk (mostly chocolate), but yet I only feel full off of healthy food. After eating it, I often feel gross and purge sometimes, not always. I try to just 'sit with' the feeling instead and it usually goes away. Pasta in particular is a major trigger for me as it bloats me out so I don't eat it anymore.
