View Full Version : Lab turnaround time...

Hi all - I haven't had my bloodwork done in about a year or so until a few days ago and I used to get the results back the next day or within 2 days - everything normal/negative. It has now been three days and they still don't have my results back. I was just curious if there was any significance to how long the lab takes to get the results back to the doctor. Like if the ANA or RF are positive, does it take longer or something?

I did have a positive ANA before, but not for the last couple of years. I have been treated for RA in the past and now I'm having problems again.

If anyone knows how long the lab should take, please let me know.

Thanks,

DT

My ANA has taken a week in two of the three tests I've had done. The other one only took a couple days. I think most, if not all of the other ones came back within a couple days so far.

My RF was negative so don't know about that one's turnaround time.

Hope you get your results soon.
