Well, my husband is in his 2nd week of radiation and has had only 1 round of chemo. He complains about how bad food taste and how hard it is to swallow. Even though he had a feeding tube he has not used it yet. I am really concerned that because of his weight that he will have to stop treatments soon.

He is so weak and I feel helpless in finding ways to aid and comfort him. I wish there was more I could do.

Hi
I have not visited the posting board as often as I use to and saw this posting and do hope your husband has found some relief. Have you been able to get him to swallow? What type of chemo? My husband has never had radiation, but his first line of chemo left him with a terrible taste in his mouth. I honestly went to the store and bought every type of drink trying to find something he would drink. Believe it or not even bottled water he could not drink! I had to buy different brands and he was finally able to find one he could tolerate.
I hope he is doing better. I honestly think out of all the chemo treatments my husband has had the 1st line of treatment was the all time worse. (he is on his 5th line at this time)
Keep us updated...stay strong and positve and have faith.
Kim
