my mum went for her ct scan and biopsy results today and was told she has a growth in her lung that could be cancerthey took some fluid from her neck can anyone tell me wy this was done.she has to have another biopsy next week, any info would be good thanks caza

Hi Caza, My Dad has lung cancer too. He had a broncoscopy which they got dead tissue from another ct guided biopsy. Again dead tissue but decided to call it cancer anyway! i havent a clue what the fluid from the neck thing was about but ask again and again until you understand. Im not that clued up on lung cancer but im learing fast. the people here will help if you ask them to. speak anytime. good luck to you and your mum. will add you into my prayers.
