Hi,

I was prescribed 20mg seroxat a few weeks ago and am over the initial side effects (feeling nauseous, tired etc) - haven't had any lift from my depression yet - but have discovered a new side effect seems to be effecting me...sorry a bit embarrasing...I cannot have an orgasm anymore and my sex drive seems to be going!
As you can guess I am really not happy about this and am worried it will effect my relationship and make my depression even worse.

Can anyone tell me if they have had similar side effects and/or does anyone know an anti-depressant that does not effect your sex life?! I would be v grateful.:) Thanks

I Hate To Say It But Lower Sex Drive Is A Side Effect For Most Ssri's. Maybe Ask Your Doctor If There Is One That Has Less Of This Side Effect? He/she May Know Of One. I Hope This Gets Better For You.

Hi: Have you tried any type of serotonin. My friends uses that for anxiexty attacks. Supposed to be good for depression, as some bodies don't manufacture enough serotonin9 not 100% sure onspelling) Ron

I've heard Wellbutrin doesn't hurt the sex drive so much.
