for the people that have gained weight on Antidepressants...do you feel it is becasue your appetitie has increased or that you gained weight regardless of maintaining the same eating and exercise habits?

one takes in more fuel than one burns/uses = weight gain.

I felt like I gained weight even though my eating habits stayed the same. I've gained over 50 pounds and have been off ADs for a month. I've lost some inches, but no real weight.

they also change you metabolic rate (how fast or slwo the body uses the fuel), even if your intake remains the same.
