Hello everyone. I have a few ?'s maybe you can help me with? I was never diagnosed/nor seen a Dr. yet just did research today and noticed possible symptoms of MS. For quite sometime I've had problems with muscle pain that starts in my neck and shoulders and ends near the elbow..it comes and goes and bothers me most when I try to sleep. When I have my feet up within less than 5 mins. my feet and calf go numb with pins and needles. I've just noticed if I sit for a while and then stand up, I get "light headed". Those 3 are the most severe. I get little headaches from time to time, but never thought anything serious of it.

Can this be symptoms of MS?

Thankyou in advance.

usually the numbess tingling of MS starts at the farthest part of your extremity toes and goes up or hand and goes up.

Your light headed thing might be low blood pressure. or you are just getting up too fast. the heart has to battle gravity :)

for you leg numbness putting your feet up, do you smoke? how old are you and do you take any form of birth control?
Is it possible that the leg pain is a side effect of birth control (deep vein thrombosis, clot) or smoking or a combination? and I ask your age for you to think about as birht control is riskier in those over 35 and smoking coupled with that is even more risky. especially for blood clots. plus some birht control methods are known for their side effects.

YOu could have MS but I think it is unlikely, however I am not a medical professional and if you feel you have the need then see the doctor.

I hope you don't worry too much as sometimes too much information is not so good for the mind :) too many what if situations. take care of yourself and see a doctor if you are concerned.

These symptoms can be neurological

If they are bothersome see your DR.

There are many disorders that mimic MS.It could something as a pinched nerve in the neck.
