My mother has just been diagnosed with stage IV bowel/colon cancer and inoperable secordary sites. She suffered greatly last time she went through chemo and the western medicine specialists have basically told he that there is nothing much that will help even though she does have the option of going through another form of chemo.

Does anyone know of any reputable alternative healing centres/doctors/practitioners who have success in treating this type of cancer in the later stages? She is willing to travel wherever she can if physically able.

In my search for Liver Specialist surgeons though, I have come across this chap - Prof David Morris of St George, University of New South Wales, Sydney. He is ostensibly a guru on 'extreme liver surgery' and also runs a Liver Research Unit. I happened to come across a nurse here in the UK who worked with him in the past.

I'm assuming here that Liver Mets are 'one of the inoperable secondaries' you refer to.
