Hi,

Has surgery this morning to fix a kink. Came in on Thurs. morning and my surgeon was skiing in Apen...he came in special for me this a.m. and fixed the kink and a few other spots. All was done laproscopically -- I am in l oads of pain and trying to get the meds fixed up. NG tube is in and I hate it!

More later - keep falling asleep as I type. Unable to post at other place from here not sure why.......I'll keep at it.

Say a little prayer that we avoid ileus this time!

Cats, I am SO hoping that this solves all your problems. Hope the pain goes away soon. Keep us posted and get that ng tube out quickly!

Thanks for the prayers and support! I am getting stronger each day...I did pass a little bit of gas, which is SO wonderful, but I am still bloated out a ton and having cramps and some reflux. Hopefully things will get working soon. I am only having ice chips right now - and not too many. I did get my NG tube out, which feels GREAT, but my throat is still super sore.

Good news is that my CEA was less than 1!! Yeah! I will go for a chest CT once I am better just to reassess the spots on my lungs that were there from a long time ago... That saves me some anxiety I was feeling about my six month post -treatment check up that was coming up.
