I've been experiencing breathing problems since Feb. 2006. I work at Home Depot and have been there over a year. I started out in the lumber side of the building and now I'm in plumbing. One night I came home from work and experienced a panic attack and went to the hospital. there I had x-rays done and didn't stay the whole night through and left because I fell asleep and things seemed to be ok. After that, I had a few more panic attacks and went to the hospital and minor emergency clinic a few times after I had my other ones and was diagnosed with dysenea and bronchial spasms. Still my problems still existed and since then I've been to several other hospitals. I've had EKG's and scat scans done again, x-rays and blood work drawn. The only thing they've said that was wrong at one time or another that my blood was elevated and had to look up on it. They've said everything seemed to be fine. I've been to a cardiologist and checked out my heart because stressed over all of this and every was fine from what he checked. I've been to the lung specialist and he couldn't find anything wrong, no weird breathing or weezing. I've even been to an asthma specialist and he thinks I should see a psychologist. Till this day since Feb. 2006 I breath in alot and even yawn a lot but I breath from what I do. At night I seem to breath okay but when I wake up I have to take heavy breaths. Would you know of any reasons why this still occurs? I use to smoke and now went cold turkey and this was since I had the panic attacks. I've been checked out by all these doctors and I still don't know what the cause of them are and still have the problems. I seem to sneeze a lot and where I work I'm always around dust, sawdust, and other related chemicals. I have never had these problems until last year. I'm 20 years old now and don't know what to do. When I do have these problems i feel that i have anxiety and feel stressed. Any help?!?!

I can't address all of your concerns but I do have some experience with panic attacks---I experienced them for the first time at the age of 40 or so when I started working in a financial institution-when I started at this instituiton, I was given a very special coffee mug which I drank from constantly. Looking back, I was drinking at least 10 cups of coffee per day. When my coffee consumption dropped to 1-2 cups per day, my panic attacks disappeared never to return.
Good luck and good health!
