I know I need this, but can't tolerate the foods that contain it. And the vitamin supplements all have some type of synthetic sugars e.g. sorbitol/mannitol, etc.
Anyone found a way to get this with the above limitations?
Thanks............carole

There are a lot of vitamin brands out that don't have synthetic sugars.

In fact I have NEVER seen a vitamin piill with any of these sugar alcohols. Are you talking about chewable "kiddie vitamins" that are made to taste sweet to appeal to children?
Other than that, what possible reason could they have to sweeten something that is swallowed whole?

I'm looking for a straight "B12"; not anything else in it. Can you tell me what brands you know of?
Thanks..................carole

Found one that meets my needs. New liquid B12 put out by Life Solutions.
Had originally wanted the sublingual as I don't do well with pills/tablets.

I just changed my diet a couple of months ago, you could say that my diet is a vegetarian one and I was concerned about not getting enough B12 and iron. I found a supplement called Spirulina, which is blue-green algae and is said to be excellent for vegans and vegetarians, you might like to look into it :)

Thanks, but with my Lupus, it revs me up too much. But it's great for most.

I take the Life Extension brand Sublingual B-12 at 5 mg lozenges. I also see it in the Now Products at the health food store.

Doesn't that have some form of sugar? e.g. sorbitol, etc.
