Hey guys, I was wondering if you thought I was doing enough work on my abs. I don't mind working them out every day, but I would hate to think that I am doing this and that it isn't even helping and I am just wasting my time. I have an ab slide and I do 4 sets of 25 with that, and 3 sets of 75 sit-ups. I know everyone says crunches are better, but I prefer sit-ups, it feels like more of a thorough ab work out to me. I tried doing 3 sets of 20 sit-ups with a 20 pound weight, but I don't know, it didn't seem like it did very much, so I stopped. Maybe I need a bigger weight. Anyways, what do you guys think, do you think that is enough to help? I don't want to have a ripped stomach, just a very toned and defined stomach. Also, I work out my abs every day. Do you think it is better to do that every day or just every other day? Which would help me see the results faster? Thanks very much for any responses.

that sounds like doing all that will give you abs but you should do some cardio to burn fat. you can have a good six pack but it cant be visible if theres a layer of fat over it. Just eat somewhat low fat foods and run some. I get my cardio from riding bikes and that doesnt seem like exercise to me its just pure fun, so find something you really like for cardio.
