I know the best time to do aerobic/cardio exercise is in the morning before breakfast because you're burning off stored fat and not what you just ate...
But if you can't exercise in the morning before eating when should you do a cardio workout?
After an aerobic exercise (about 30 min) how long does your body continue to burn fat?
And... Should you mix weight-lifting with cardio, or switch days?

I forgot: if you do aerobic exercise in the morning, can you drink water? Or do you have to not take in anything before your workout?

1. cardio anytime you can is good. It just happend to be best for fat burning in the AM.
2. after aerobic training, your metabolism returns to normal rather quickly. weight training raises your metabolism for hours after training.
3. always hydrate. drinking water is good before any kind of exercise and can help prevent cramping and dehydration while exercising.
