I have extremely lean and muscular legs except my upper inner thighs. I have taken up a regimin of running 30 minutes (or 3 miles) on the treadmill every other day. Will this trim down the thighs.....and also will it help firm up flabby sides and stomach areas?
thanks

I was getting ready to ask you a question but you answered it here. Yes, Cardio will work but how much depends on th individual. The extra fat you are carrying sounds like it is probably the first places that you noticed it in the first place. Remember this rule... First on Last off. You will lose the fat it is just going to take a little longer and perhaps a little extra work. Like losing any other body fat, try adjusting your diet and activity levels until you find what works. And don't forget the good fats like Flax Seed Oil.

you may want to also try this. although you said you have nice toned legs, if you get/use a slide board that simulates the motion of ice skating, you hit some VERY different muscles than those used for running, including the area you mentioned. im not entirely sure it will make the fat come off the area quicker, but you may find that those muscles are a little underdeveloped compared to the the big ones (quads and hammies). mind the previous post as well. also remember to stretch good so you have some good blood flow in all parts of your legs as this will help with the fat burning process as well as being a generally good idea anyway.

Excellent Point Hulkster! Developing the muscles in weaker, "softer" areas will definitely tighten things up a bit. Remember... You can't spot reduce! The actual fat loss will melt off of your entire body systematically.
