i'm not sure if i should post this here or under the childeren's topics but i noticed tonight and last night while my son was asleep he was gasping for air. it lasted maybe a minute. he seemed to stuggle to breath and was moving around a lot. my grandmother and a few of my cousins have asthma so it does run in the family. i've also noticed that sometimes he gags. just out of no where he'll start gagging. i talked to his pedi about it but he said that no one knows why babies do this and its normal. they are just getting used to swallowing and breathing. when he was born he had to have fluid taken out of his lungs b/c he inhaled amniotic fluid b/c of fetal distess when i was delivering him. maybe he has fluid in his lungs, but if he did shouldn't have the doc noticed when he went in for his 2 week check up? if anyone can help i'd appreciate it. thanks!
