This is my first time posting so I hope I know what I am doing. I have a 4 year old son and a 4 month old son. I have recently started experiencing severe shortness of breath as well as hair loss, etc. I was just wondering if this is my hormones trying to adjust after having the baby. I had shortness of breath during pregnancy and this is similar. Also, I had postpartum thyroiditis after my first child but don't feel the symptoms I felt with that. I am currently taking 10 mg of lexapro and recently started Adderall again for ADD. I don't feel this is causing the shortness of breath though. Any suggestions or comments?

I would say based on your history you should probably go get your thyroid checked again. Good luck!

Thanks - I am on top of the thyroid thing. I have read so much information about hyperthyroidism and the dangers of taking adderall but can't find anything specific. Does anyone know of the medical reasons for this? Thanks for the help

I started to lose my hair after I had my daughter and I was told that it was my hormones going back to normal. I didn't lose a lot, just enough to be really frustrating. I also had shortness of breath while pregnant, but it seemed to get better after she was born. I attributed it to the huge amount of weight I put on.
