How did you feel PRIOR to hormone replacement?

I have all these symptoms:
depression
fatigue
poor conecntraion
poor memory
no sex drive
no motivation/drive
anxiety
lack of feeling overall wellness

I can't wait til they figure this out!

I felt the same. Tired, not really depressed but I felt like I was just going through life, nothing special. My sex drive was so gone just seeing a nude picture or a porno would do nothing for me. I am on testim now but I am having a hard time getting my doctor to work with me, plus I feel I really need to see an endo. I am still around 400, I get morning erections but nothing like before all this started. Pictures and porn still do nothing for me but with some help from Viagra and some forplay from my wife we can get things going most of the time. I think my E2 and my prolactin is also out of wack. I feel pretty good other wise. I know I could feel better.

Pretty much just like you.....with the added symptom of that I just didn't care and I had many heart palpitations. I felt like my life and career were over and I was just waiting around to die and that I had already met my full potential (which isn't bad, but I know in my heart that I can do much better).

I started treatment and felt much better for a brief period. I felt drive both sexual and career for a short period of time, was calmer, more in 'control', more confident, and seemed on a path to normal again. Some, I am sure, was placebo effect but most was real. I was in the 800's then.

My body then shut down and I fell as of my last results to about 255 or so. I started on T when I was as 266. The old me was back.

I took blood two weeks ago and am STILL waiting on the results.

Did you get tested? If so, where were you?

I got my testosterone up to 600+ & my estradiol E2 down to 20.
That is a T:E2 ratio of 30:1.

I started at about 3:1

I do self injections of tetsosterone cyp & HCG.

I am still learning all about all this and I am getting some more tests done. I keep seeing posts where people are taking HCG. What is this?

HCG is a substance that helps the testicles naturally ptoduce sperm & testosterone. Testosterone supplements will shut down the testicles natural production. The HCG starts them up abain in most males.

It is usually self injected in low doses,500iu, 2 or 3 times a week into the thigh.

I am just on my second shot. Confirmed to have low T(286) and have felt like crap for about 5 years. Lethargy, no drive ambition, agression and short temper wait gain right in the belly, sex drive bad. Just found out my sperm count is really low too and should justify the hcg use. I still have time in between shots where I regress but I see now that I can get hcg and arimidex so I have hope.
