Hi
I am in now taking these medications for Epilepsy – called Keppra & Lamictal I have been gaining weight.
I would like to find have if the weight gain is possibly because of the Keppra or some thing else. I can say in that I have not gained this amount of weight before.
Thank you Craig

From my personal experience, Tegretol made me slowly gain weight, and when I started on Keppra in addition, it made me lose all the weight I'd gained. I'm not sure if it works the same was for everyone, though.

:) I've been on Lamictal for 15 years or so, and have not gained weight. Did anyone ever take (or still take) Felbatol? I lost 30+ pounds in about 9 months, became anemic, and lots of other problems started. Needless to say, I was taken off. I was told it was taken off the market?
