Hi! I know this may seem silly, but my gyno has never officially diagnosed me with PCOS, but has treated me for symptoms. I am not sure what it all means and what the results will be. I did take metformin for a couple months, but the side effects were awful. I had gone more than a year with no more than 3 periods. I decided to in the spring to join Weight Watchers and have lost 36 pounds (give or take). When I hit the 25 pound mark, my periods started coming more regularly, although never 28 days. They usually are 35-42 days long. So that brings me to my current situation. My husband and I have finally decided that we want to put alot of effort into trying to conceive. So I am currently taking clomid, estradiol, and a progesterone cream. This is my second cycle on this. My question is are the longer cycles a factor of PCOS and has anyone had success conceiving with PCOS? I would love to hear from people in the same situations and learn about some of the things that have worked for you. Thanks in advance for your time. -amy
