Hi. I'm freaking out because this guy told me he has Hep-C and that because I gave him a hicky, I could too!

I don't think I barely grazed the skin...I know I didn't taste blood...I don't think I even punctured the skin!

Someone please give me his/her opinion. I'm just scared. This is twice now someone has had Hep-C and I did not know!

I'm certainly no doctor but it seems highly unlikely. A simple blood test will tell you though. Don't stress over it but the next time you go to the doc ask them to run a hep test, they will. Good luck!

Sweetie, the guy's either a twit or he's a nasty creep trying to scare you. A hickie is just a bruise under the skin. You broke the tiny capillaries with your oral vacuuming, but you'd have to be a leech to have extracted any blood. Second point: it'd be necessary to have blood to blood contact for it to get into your bloodstream. If you got his blood into your mouth AND had a bleeding cut in your mouth, there'd be a chance. So, unless you look like a large black worm AND had cuts in your mouth, you can be sure you're safe. The only advice: stay away from that idiot. Oh, and don't give hickies; they look sooo bogun.

If you are worried have a blood test but I doubt that you contracted anything from him. I feel that saying such to scare you is real stupid cause this is nothing to play with. I think he is a jerk and just keep away from his blood. Please don't let him play around you with that concept (i.e. a scratch, small cut, nose bleed, etc.) If he cares about you he would do such things. He should be trying to explain Hep C to you and get your support. I'm with Queen Aussie, think about dumping the jerk.
