Hi everybody,
I'm sorry for putting a silly question. However, please understand that I'm living in a country where people do not consider hair loss an illness that needs curing and thus, I find nobody and nowhere to ask this question.
I would very much like to describe my hairloss first. I have experienced a severe hair loss nearly three years ago. At that moment, I have a zero knowledge of it. I just think that there's some problem with the shampoo and I change to another shampoo which does not help me stop my hairloss. And then, I think of fungus. I go to the hospital but they take no investigation and until now, I even do not know whether I'm involved with fungus or not. Yet, I decide to use Nirozal for some months, which again have no positive impacts on stopping my hair loss. I try in vain and one day, while surfing the net, I read an article saying that thyroid problem is likely a cause of my hairloss. I have done some thyroid test which shows that my TSH and T3 are okay (TSH and T are at low level of normal range), just T4 slightly lower and I have a thyroid cyst. My doctor recommends me to use Levothyrox 50mg/day, which seems not to work with me (I have taken it for 1 month at some points of time, my hair loss seems to reduce while at other points of time, it seems to accelerate). I have a very strong family history of baldness with my father suffering from baldness when he is thirty year old and all of his three sisters having very thin hair. For that reason, I think that there is a great possibility that I am selected to be the next victim of AGA.
Please kindly recommend me what tests should I take to make sure that whether I am now suffering from AGA. I'm very sorry for my long post and any feedbacks from you is, for sure, greatly appreciated.
I'm eagerly looking forward to hearing from you.
