I lost my mom to sclc a year ago. They are saying there could be some genetic link to lung cancer especially if you have a parent or sibling with it. What are your opinions on a spiral ct to make sure everythings ok? I have been thinking about talking to my doctor about it. I know Im at risk as I have smoked in the past.
At the same time I dont want to go looking for something that might not be there, but I do know how important early detection is. My mom had no signs until she was diagnosed at stage iv.
I know how sneaky lung cancer can be and I just want to do whatever I can to not let it sneak up on me like it did mom. My aunt on my dads side also had lung cancer.
Just looking for some opinions and GOD BLESS everyone on this board as I know its a tough road.
Thank You:angel:
