Can anyone tell me what the difference is when you register wit a dentist and you choose between nhs or private.
I would imagine that going private would mean more options in your care,can someone confirm if that is the case.

It all depends what treatment you are having... the NHS will offer you the cheapest sevice posibble like silver fillings. if your just going for a check up or to have your teeth clean and scaled, it will be the same treatment as up get on the NHS i guess. if you need to see a specialist like a periodontist there is a long waiting list like most appointments on the NHS... i tend to go private if i can afford it...
