View Full Version : Hernia symptoms? Possible diagnostic imaging options?

Was in the gym a couple of weeks ago and had an awesome day, doing squats and leg presses.

I remember on my last few leg presses my lower abs had kind of a strained feeling, and it kind of spread out the next day or two from just below the navel to the groin area. Saw my Doc who felt around for a hernia, found nothing and told me to rest.

Did legs 4 days ago, and had no immediate pain. By yesterday had sore groin, upper inside of left thigh, a little bit of pain in the nads, and pain above and to the right of my pelvis.

Again no bulges but something is wrong, and it isn't something that rest will fix. I am making an appointment today. I think I have the warning signs of something about to blow.

Have any of you guys had this stuff before a hernia?

The way the pain radiates I would almost think it was inflammation due to infection but the exact connection to leg workouts brings me back to a hernia. I am no expert, but maybe a small hernia in the fatty area around the pelvis might not be easy to spot.

Has anyone ever had any kind of diagnostic imaging for a hernia? I would like to have some ideas for the Dr, or else just find a new one.

Thanks for any responses:)

Edit. Also have a slight swelling(not just asymetry) in my left nut. Not painful but feels like a bit of pressure. Just not getting the intense pain I am told is associated with this type of hernia.
