I had a root canal a month ago, not sure how this thing on the gum in front of
that tooth is related but I guess Xray shows infection at base of tooth. My
question is about antibiotics. I took penicllin for 2 weeks & now I have to start a different one. He Rx'd METRONIDAZOLE with AMPICILLIN. I read about side effects on the Net & am very worried about what they will be like. I start these drugs on Monday. I plan to take probiotics but effects like light headedness, dizziness, etc, concern me because it may affect driving. Any experiences you may have had with these drugs would be very helpful. I took the metro drug about 10 years ago and thought I was going to go out of my mind. I couldn't even finish the bottle. I had a horrible pressure in my head and felt like my skull was going to blow apart. I'd ask for something else!
