Hello,
I am not a doctor but I would recommend cymbalta as it acts as not only an ssri but also a nuropinephrine uptake as well...which has to do with the nerves...cymbalta has helped me strongly with the pain and emotional side of freaking out and crying randomly...hope all goes well...keep me updated.

I had been wondering about this drug myself. I take Paxil for anxiety and was wondering if this drug, since it also helps with pain, might be helpful. I will talk with my neuro about it.

Hey, thanks for thinking of me.
I have been put on Lexapro, which works on anxiety (kind of like a mild valium) and the antidepressent takes away the crying jags. (I am on my third day now.) I am finding over the past two night that I have difficulty sleeping more than three hours at a time, but it beats crying for no reason in my book.
I have a follow up apt. with my Neuro this week. I'll see what he says about the sleepless side effect.
