Heya all!

I started noticing about a year ago that I was getting these strange white goosebump looking spots on my penis, I didn't think much of it at first as i figured it couldn't be much of a hygenic problem as I washed it regularly and it was clean, etc!

As the year developed so did the 'rash?' and the bumps have enlargened slightly, they are on the shaft of the penis, not under the skin, they are on the skin!

They aren't usually itchy, they are whitish in colour and starting to spread up my penis like crazy

I have tried washing a few extra times a day but that doesn't seem to be doing much, I have tried creams like E45 cream and Savlon which were around the house and savlon seems to calm them a little but they are still VERY visible! I also noticed if I squeeze one sometimes you can get some white 'stuff' released!

I went to the doctor to speak about this and he said that that it wasnt warts and that it may just be puberty but didnt seem to add much else although he did say to come back in 3 months if the problem continues!

I am 17 years old and thanks for reading!

That's just normal sebaceous glands. Everybody has them,

No every adult male has them. You would be abnormal if you didn't. During puberty and young adulthood they be subject to some acne like the other sebacous glands on your back and face but they will never go away. They are just more visible on the genitals because of the thin skin there. Girls have them too.

They probably stop where your circumcision scar is. Intact guys have them right to the tip on the outside of the foreskin,

They are not a problem. They are 100% normal. You'd be very odd if you didn't have them. Women have them too.

If there is only one it's a different thing. Describe it more fully.
