So I finally broke down and had my wisdom teeth out. Of course, all the horrors i envisioned come true, including waking up during the last extraction...what can I say, I'm a pretty muscular guy, their drugs don't work too well on me.

But now I'm having some issues...I have periodic pain in my molars, but not too bad, just kinda a constant pressure when it happens. More to the issue though, I have this weird taste in my mouth; a lot of the time, if I suck on something, or just when nothing is in my mouth, I get this really foul tasting saliva from the back of my mouth. Any ideas as to what it is, and more importantly, how to get rid of it?

I do have the irrigation syringe, I just haven't been using it that much,

I should listed to my doctor more often.
