Hi,

I have this problem around the end of my penis, the end of my foreskin is very red and looks inflamed and also i have small cuts all round the end of my penis too! also when i urinate it burns every now and again and smell funny too like a nasty smell! i have researched it and all i have found out about the smell is that it could be a yeast infection!

Is it worth going to doctors or can i treat it myself and has anyone else had these problems too and how do i sort it out!

Left untreated, a yeast infection can leave you with an unretractable foreskin.

Go to the chemist and ask for an oral and topical treatment. Take the full treatment and see if your symptoms disappear. If they don't see a doctor. It's possible there could already be scarring from this after you clear it up though. In which case you may need betamethasone to stretch again as scar tissue does not naturally stretch easily.
See my stretching instructions at the top of this board should that become necessary but don't stretch while you still have the infection or it will just tear more,
