i have recently had one of my back teeth out(2 weeks ago) and i had a gum infection,so i went the dentist and the sorted it out(well i hope so).but the last three days i have been having massive jaw pains on the other side of the mouth when i eat and i always wake up with it during the night.can anybody help? thank you very much
Maybe you are a tooth grinder like me. Was the tooth which was removed cracked? I was waking with jaw ache and my teeth were cracking!! and I always took great care of my teeth. So after on implant and then a root canal I got a tooth guard to wear while I sleep so I can't grind anymore. And my teeth and jaws feel much better and so far no more cracks. Check with your dentist about a guard, maybe it can help.

Do you have any amalgam fillings? mercury is implcated in TMJ problems.
