Athletes have low pulse rates, but for a non-athlete I believe a pulse of 45 is quite low. I'm a young female with a pulse around 65 (BP of 110/70). I think 60 is considered the low and healthy point for a non-athlete.
The typical resting heart rate should be above 60 and below 100. Anything below 60 on a typical basis should probably be checked out by the doctor. I would suggest calling today or tomorrow and getting the first spot available to be checked out.

He did say they found that out while he was in the hospital. Did they say anything about it? Maybe you should see a different doctor

Your BP seems very high. Are you taking any meds to bring it down? I agree that a pulse of 45 is quite low.

My resting heart rate is 46 - 49. This is caused by medication (had a heart attack last year) and from exercising 45 minutes every night. I would be more worried about your BP. Way too high. Should be around 120/70. BTW: some of the best athletes have <40 bpm.

Your heart rate range is 60-100. Your B/P should be 120's/80;s and not to exceed 140's/90's. Your b/p is extremely high. You need to call your doctor right away. Have you had any dizziness? Take care.
