I've been ill for 3 months with 4 viruses and bacterial infections. My lungs are
_______(can't remember the words he used). So he put me on sterorids. I've been on 4 since a couple weeks ago, the first time in my life using steroids except once when I was in hard labor too early. I started on Predisone yesterday(Sunday) and alot of the chest pain subsided except for my heart pain, pain in shoulder, pain in wrist, numbness and tightness in hands and arms and shortness of breath. I'm also using inhaler(generic type of Albuterol). And I'm on antibiotics. The last 3 days I've went to urgent care but they NEVER believe me that my heart is bothering me. They always say it's stress even though aspirin helps. Antidepressants do NOT help with this. My cardiologist at the VA says I have a heart cond but everyone else at the VA doesn't believe it. I have children to raise. I'm 47. Help.

You need to find out exactly what kind of heart condition you do have. Ask your cardiologist to perform a ECHO, ECG/EKKG & a nuclear stress test.

I had the ECHO, and a stress test but what is the ECG/EKKG? Maybe I've had that too. I know they put me through a machine that took pictures of my heart.
Thanks for replying.
