I have been diagnosed now for 5 years and not taking any meds.
Prior to becoming infected I had high energy levels and no aches and pains yet since becoming HIV+ I wake every morning feeling like I have had no sleep and feeling like I have been run over by a truck. I wake early morning with pains in my neck & shoulders so severe I cannot return to sleep.
I have had blood tests and scans that prove nothing and the docs say little.
I also have recurring herpes - 4 outbreaks in 6 months, I was prescribed with Aciclovir which the side effects are joint and muscle pains in my arms, with all the other pain going on I decided to stop taking and guess what there back. I am also finding that when I wake in the morning I am short of breath.
Has anyone had similar symptoms with any useful results from their docs.
