Hey guys I,m a newbe here and I have a queastion for all you pro's. I just got started in lifting and need some tips on how to gain muscle mass as quick as possible I could also stand to drop a few pounds of fat while I'm at it. I can curl about 120lbs with my right arm and I bench some were in the neighborhood of 350 to 400lbs but my arms are only a little ove 17 inches. I would like to know how to gain muscle mass and strength with out gaining fat.(I dont need any more of that) thanx for any info.

just got started and you can already bench 350-400 lbs??? thats a very large difference (350 vs 400)...how sure are you of those numbers? many people dont get a bench like that even after a lifetime of lifting, let alone 'just getting started'!

Hello and thanx for the reply. yes i just got started, and I,m very sure of thoes numbers even thoe the most i,ve ever benched was 350 I did it for severl reps so I,m pretty confident that I can get up 400. I guess the reason I can do this is because I,m a very large person with a very large frame. but I really do need to gain more muscle mass so if you can give me some tips I would really appreciate it. good bye for now....

Benching 400 and dumbell curling 120 is not someone thats just getting started. Sounds like this thread should just be disregarded as BS...

sorry I guess I for got to mintion that thats a cable curl not a real dumbell, and I'm still sticking with the 350-400lb bench. (it really is'ent that difficult). but I,m not here to talk how much I can or how much I cant lift. I just that I could get some helpfull info on gaining strenth and mass from you guys.
