Mother in law had lung surgery yesterday.she had the left upper lobe removed and lymph nodes. We will get results on lymph nodes today. she did well through surgery, remember she's 78....100 pounds....the incision was longer than I thought. WOW....she slept most of the day. Except when they would wake her up to do breathing exercises and change bedding from side tube leakage. she looks so helpless. I hope today is better for her. She was sick to her stomach all evening. On my way back to hospital.......any input is appreciated.....this is all new to us!!

The strength you all show helps so much. Its not just the person with this horrible illness that suffers its affects the whole family. Best wishes to you all, I pray we all have the strength to get through the bad times and enjoy the good ones. Grab the good when ever you can because I find its what give me the strength to cope.
