Hi y'all
I've been off vics for 3 weeks today!!! I had been taking tramadol in the begining to help with the worst of the W/D's. I haven't had any for a week until this morning. I woke up and my neck and shoulders were CRYING! So iI took some motrin-no help! Then I took 2 tramadol (I know!!) Now I have a pounding migraine-UGH!! Tramadol has never done this to me before-or is it something else-I feel like my head is going to explode! Am I being punished:confused:

Hi dfro... I do not feel like I have a right to offer advice after the stunt I pulled the other day... but if this helps... Remember I was taking tramadol only to find out it is a narcotic too and the dr. never bothered to tell me? Well, after I stopped taking it, I developed a horrid headach and it stayed with me for a couple of days. I found that Excedrin Migraine worked well... if only for a few hours.
Hope this helps... I want to return the help you have given to me... you deserve it.
Hugs, Mary

Thank you Mary,
I can bearly type- so bear with me! I've read previous post from all you guy's and figured out that I screwed-up BIG TIME! I should have never taken the stupid tramadol! It's like taking a vicoden! I'm kinda glad i'm having a negatve reaction because I won't take anymore-in fact I'm going to go flush them right now! I didn't think tramadol was a narcotic either-I know it work just like one but i've never felt anything from them but pain relief. My doctor prescibes them like candy! Go figureiin fact when I told him no more Vicoden he said that tramadol would be fine! I belive it's time to find a new doctor-one who's aware of the consequences of tramadol!
Thanks! And you should most definitly look at this as a small mishap. I would consider you 2 months CLEAN! You should feel better very soon. You've got to remember you have been very stressed about all this -so it may make you feel worse!
