I've been curious about the medication for MS. Is it covered under most insurance plans?

Not well. But you can find insurancce that has a "cap" on injectables.
Avonex (which I take) is $1,700 a month without insurance. $520 with Blue Cross. $150 with Blue Shield... and I hope ... $25 on Kaiser. Changing insurance next month. Fingers crossed!

HI, interesting question. My husband works for a Union , and they are self insured. With my insurance, my Rebif is 1800$ a month without insurance...and it costs me 75$ a month with insurance for my copay...
It used to cost me $150/ month, however the union changed pharmacies...the only issue I have, is now my meds are mailed to me, which is a real headache when it comes to weather problems (they showed up frozen once this winter) and in being there to accept the delivery, they wont leave it on my porch.
Good luck.
