Need-A-Friend 03-06-2007, 08:24 PM Well It Has Been 4 Days Now And From What I Have Read I Thought Day Three Was Supposed To Be Pergotory. Day Four Is Killing Me. Any Suggestios. Please Help. Sponsor hopeintn 03-06-2007, 08:54 PM Congrats to you!! :hugs: I am on day 8 of my hydro w/d and I don't want to be a downer, but most of the physical symptoms are gone except for of course fatigue...but I feel really depressed right now and I am hoping that will soon pass...My dr put me on zoloft, but I haven't been on it long enough to notice any difference...Once again, I am really proud of you!! We can make it through this, it's not going to be easy, but remember we only have to do it ONCE!! Take care and the best of wishes to you and your family during this difficult time!! -B withdrawls are hard 04-02-2007, 07:03 AM Its different for everyone, day four for me was the continuous vomiting day, and delusional thinking, tremors, blood pressure through the roof...etc. sound familiar? gets better after day five.hang in there, and stayaway from substitution drugs like subutex, methadone etc...theyre gonna take you right back to where u are now harmony8299 04-02-2007, 05:13 PM Hello, It will get better!!!!!!!!!!! I am on day 10, and I almost feel like Im back to myself. Days 3-5 are usually the worst and then you begin to level off. Your almost there!!! Stay strong! Remember that you will never have to go thru days 1-3 again as long as you stay away from those pills!! Some things that were suggested to me when I came here that really helped: 1. Read the sample home detox plan and follow it as much as you can!! 2. Start pumping in vitamins 3. Drink lots of water 4. Physical activity-force yourself to do as much as you can 5. support groups-here, NA, etc. 6.Hot baths 7.Positive thinking Good luck, and stay strong!! You can do this!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let me know if you need to talk. Hugs, Harmony withdrawls are hard 04-03-2007, 01:25 AM I am new to this this post , but wish Id found it when I REALLY needed it, I am on day 5 of suboxone WD and compared to previously detoxing from methadone its a much lesser hell, but someone who has never experienced that...will never know how bad it really can be. I am telling all of you this because I care and would wish these terrible wd on any one, except possibly my ex wife, kidding of course, no really....just stay clean, that means even from dr's alternatives . |
