I started taking birth control this last month. Im about to finish my first packet. I've never taken the pill before and I dont know if my problems are related to the pill or something else.
I was wondering if anyone has had increased depression while on the pill or strange discharge?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Regarding the depression, the pill depletes the B vitamins. So, that is likely why you're feeling depressed. Try taking a B complex vitamin and see if that helps. I took one when I became depressed while on the pill and it helped me alot. As far as the discharge goes, I don't know, though. Maybe ask your doctor about it.

Hi I wanted to add my expericence with this birthcontrol... It has def. made a big impact on me. I dont get any of the listed side effects just the increased depression and moody swings

When I was on tri-cyclen lo it was awful. I was depressed, tired all the time, I was always hungry so I gained weight, bloated, migraines...
It didn't affect my sex drive per se, but being tired and unhappy all the time had it's affect.

im kind of worried about the depression. i was depressed before i started taking the pill and it seems to be worse lately. i dont know if it is the pill or something else. im going to try the vitamin b that someone before suggested.
i dont feel like crying anymore so i am willing to try anything.

A symptom of using this kind of pill is increase in discharge.
