What milligrams do methadone pills come in? I was told by one doctor they only make a 5 and 10 mg pill so if say you were going to start taking 20 mg at a time you would have to just take two 10 mg pills and so on and so on. Is this true?

Yes, that's true. They make a 5 and 10 mg pill, but they also make a wafer, meant to be disolved in a solution to drink. Normally you would get it in pill form. I do and I'm on 180 mg a day. Just to let you know, it also comes in large vials for injection.

Hi Cop, it comes in 5mg, 10 mg and 40 mgs wafers/tablets that can be broken into quaters and disolved in juice. They also make a liquid version for oral use in different concentrations from 5mgs per ml to 10 mgs per ml.
Good luck, Dave
