Need-A-Friend 03-07-2007, 02:49 PM I Have Been Off Hydros For 5 Days Now, C/t. Will It Hurt To Take A .5mg Ativan For The Jitters? Sponsor bkim 03-07-2007, 03:05 PM Hey there. Not sure about the ativan, so I really can't give you solid advice on that. How are you feeling? Better I hope. donewithvics 03-07-2007, 03:25 PM Are you RX'd the ativan? If so, I see no reason you can't take it as it was prescribed to you. If you aren't RX'd the medication, you really should ask your doc...everyone reacts differently to meds. Hang in there...it only gets better from here on out! Need-A-Friend 03-07-2007, 04:14 PM I Am Doing Better Than Expected Today, Yesterday Was Pure Hell, I Just Dont Want To Screw This Up Guys, I Have To Much To Loose. I Have Alot Of Axiety Today, I Keep Reaching Into My Pocket Thinking I Have My Pills In There. I Guess Alot Of It Is Mental. I Am Thinking Of All Of You And No What Ur Going Thro Hope Tpmorrow Is Better Than Today.ugh. bkim 03-07-2007, 09:53 PM I hear you on that. You are doing great!! I can relate to what you said about reaching into your pocket. Its like saying goodbye to a good friend. Unfortunately, it wasn't a good friend. Just remember that. Things will get better. You have to find something to fill that void. Need-A-Friend 03-08-2007, 10:36 AM Well The Sun Came Up This Morning. I Believe That Is The First Time I Have Noticed In 6 Years. It Is Beautiful Outside, And Knock On Wood And By Gods Will I Feeeeeeeel Goooooood. Thanks To All. Randy reachout 03-08-2007, 10:53 AM Heya Randy Congratulations on 5 days off and surviving the initial withdrawal! Good work. Ah, it does feel good to enjoy something again, doesn't it. Smiles. Randy, are you spending time reading through a lot of posts here? That was always very helpful to me. It helped me gain knowledge and really helped me keep perspective as I came off oxycodone. Take some time to read through posts and discover the many different ways people have discovered to stay off the drugs after detoxing, okay? It can help you gain insight to what is actually a long, I guess lifelong in essence, process. The same as there are peaks and valleys in withdrawing, there are peaks and valleys after withdrawing. You have shown such great strength thus far. Stay strong in reclaiming your life! All best wishes reachout |
