i really know nothing about ms but i know there are different kinds or some are not as bad as others. what is the prognosis for most people and what is the treatment?

MS is not fatal so I'd say right there that's a good prognosis.

The different kinds are relapsing-remitting which most people have, primary-progressive, secondary-progressive and progressive-relapsing. I'm afraid I don't know the specific differences but it's easy to find on the internet. Depending on which type you have will determine the treatment, if treatment is available. If you look up the CRABs drugs for MS this will give you lots of info (Copaxone, Rebif, Avonex, Betaseron). There are other drugs as well I believe but these are the main ones.
