I have been told that i have hyperthyroid. I have very high spikes in my vitals. The doctor put me on thyroid med. tapezole. I have taken it for 4 1/2 days now and I just had another "attack" of these spikes along with internal tummy and legs shaking a lot. I thought this should have stopped now that Im on the thyroid med. I posted in thyroid also. I dont know the difference between if Im having a panic attack, anxierty attack or thyroid still spilling out inside me. Any thoughts please? Im so discouraged.

Count on at least a week or two to level off. The thyroid didn't go wild in 4 days, it takes time to get the tapezole up to optimum levels in the body. I was in hosp. for 10 days spiking every day til about day 7. Ask your Dr about adjusting the dose if it is still doing it after two weeks. You WILL feel better soon!
