I would say if you have to use it once a day you are not well controlled. At least that would be my criteria for myself. I rarely use it but spring is coming and that could cause some triggers. I also use it before jogging but don't include that as I would not be able to jog unless I medicated beforehand.

My doctor told me if I am using my rescue inhaler everyday that is too much. He put me on Singulair and I take it once a night and I haven't used my albuterol in years.

You can get the same results without any medication by taking a VERY SPECIFIC type of Vitamin E. I couldn't go two days without my inhaler. Now I have been med free for 40 days by only taking the vitamin E

Which specific type of Vitamin E should we be looking for?

How has the use of Singulair been going for you? I recently was reading a message board about Singulair and many of the people using it had very bad side affects.

It makes me depressed and lethargic which is no good when you got asthma. For others it's a miracle drug so you can always get a sample from your doctor.

Hi

I know the prescribed amount is 4 times a day but I have to use more quite often because my asthma flares up quite often. I am on prednisone quite often too.

Good luck with the asthma.
